Link to album The Chimney at Spiller's Cove Originally this trip was slated for a 10 day visit to the North Cascades area of Washington state, but if you would have checked the weather map for the Pacific Northwest in late August and early September you would have seen forest fires galore. Not really looking to hike and be outdoors when there's a smoke advisory and bad air quality. Then came the question of what were we going to do as a replacement trip? I looked at British Columbia, Canada but there also lots of fires in the region too. Alberta? How about something on the east side of Canada? In my spare time when surfing Reddit or Instagram I always bookmark or save interesting looking outdoor places. On my map I had Torngat National Park saved which is in the upper section of Labrador and Labrador is apart of Newfoundland and Labrador.
